| Support for PDF requires two files be placed in the ES.NET 2004 directory: |
- pdftotext.exe (from xpdf-1.01-win32.zip)
- gzip.exe (from gzip124xN.zip)

| After placing those two files in the Enterprise Search directory you, will then need to add ,.pdf to the File Extensions list in the Options under the Following tab of the spider. |

| Excel & PowerPoint |
| Support for Excel (95, 97, & XP) and PowerPoint requires three files be placed in the ES.NET 2004 directory: |
- xlhtml.exe (from xlhtml040.zip)
- ppthtml.exe (from xlhtml040.zip)
- convert.bat (from convert.zip)

| After placing those three files in the Enterprise Search directory you, will then need to add ,.xls,.ppt to the File Extensions list in the Options under the Following tab of the spider. |

| Word |
| Microsoft Word is automatically supported. Nothing needs to be installed or configured. |

| WordPerfect |
| Support for WordPerfect (WP5x - WP10) requires three files to be placed in the ES.NET 2004 directory: |
- wp2html.exe (from demov32.exe)
- wp2html.cfg (from wp2html.zip)
- convert.bat (from convert.zip)

| After placing those three files in the Enterprise Search directory, you will then need to add ,.wp, .wp5, .w51, .wp6, .wpd, to the File Extensions list in the Options under the Following tab of the spider. |

| RTF is automatically supported. Nothing needs to be installed or configured. |
